Mexico reaffirms its undeniable commitment with human rights, both at national and international levels.

Mexico works to consolidate and strengthen the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) to promote the respect and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms for all.

During the 2014-2016 term, we promoted 37 resolutions and co-sponsored 121 resolutions that contributed in protecting the rights of people in vulnerable situations and to prevent discrimination and violation of human rights. For 2018-2010, Mexico will promote the mainstreaming of the human rights perspective in the work of the United Nations and its agencies.
