Overview

Mexico and the European Union have more than ten sectorial dialogues in which different dependencies of the Mexican government address together with their European counterparts bilateral and multilateral issues, including topics of international politics, the protection of human rights, the environment, climate change, and security and justice, among others.

As a result of these dialogues, the relationship between both parties is strengthened and opportunities for cooperation are intensified through joint initiatives and coordination in multilateral fora.
