In July 2019, the President of the European Investment Bank, Werner Hoyer, and Vice President Emma Navarro, head of the Bank's operations in Latin America, visited Mexico to ratify the EIB's commitment to promoting sustainable economic growth, employment and prosperity in Mexico and throughout Latin America.
